SCOURGE THE INFERNO!

The hells are filled with the most sinister demons imaginable, all looking to make a name for themselves in this new battle age. The Blood War is a never-ending war that plunges each of the nine layers of the inferno into eternal bloodshed. It's every devil for themselves as they are the commanders of their own legion of hellspawn who have made blood contracts with them. In Lucicalibur, you take up the mantle of a devil commander, throwing your flock of raging demons with swords and guns at your opponents. Demons of the inferno are powerful, but keep your word on the fine print because they will turn to treachery as soon as they realize there is a way out of the contract.

WHAT IS IT?

Lucicalibur is a two-player tactical wargame inspired by other wargames like MAGNAGOTHICA MALEGHAST & Kill Team with heavy themes on gothic punk art and military demonry. This is a game where you control infantries of demon units to storm objectives and kill your opponent's units. To summon units onto the battlefield, you must spend Blood Tokens to do so. Every summoned unit has contract terms you must abide by or else they will turn to treachery and things will erupt into chaos.

ONE HELL OF A CREW!

This game's system, downloadable guidebook, and physical asset printouts were created in under 4 weeks for a game jam project in a senior game design class by University of California, Santa Cruz students. This game will still be worked on in the future by its creator and some of the mechanic designers so things will be changing for balancing.

I like the aesthetic, although my printer will hate me. Quick question: What do you recommend a standard deck size should be? 10 to 15 cards?

For both decks, I'd say a standard size should be around 20-30 cards.
